Julie I. Hunt

Julie I. Hunt, age 52, of Council Bluffs, passed away December 6, 2017 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital. Julie was born April 24, 1965 in Council Bluffs to the late Vernon L. and Sally (Wahl) Kohrell. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1984. Julie married Mark Hunt on February 14, 1990 in Las Vegas. She worked at Wahl Optical as an optician for 33 years. Julie is survived by her husband, Mark Hunt; sons, Blake (Felicia) Hunt all of Council Bluffs, Branden Hunt (Patrick) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; grandchildren, Preslee and Lailah; sisters, Theresa (Mark) Belt, Renee (fiance', Scott Hannan) Rea all of Council Bluffs; brothers, Michael (Tami) Kohrell of Papillion, Nebraska, Dennis Kohrell of Council Bluffs; niece, Ashley (Chris) Hein and children; uncle, Bob Wahl; in-laws, Kenny and Mary Hunt; sister-in-law, Debbie Hunt; other family members and friends.
