he Pythian Sisters and TOPS, and was a former member of First Lutheran Church in Maquoketa and the Andrew Garden Club. She currently was attending God's Family Baptist Church in Grand Mound. Phyllis enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, gardening, flowers, canning tomatoes, attending the farmer's market, dancing and traveling. Those left to honor her memory include her children, Gerald (Kelly) Duhme of Akron, OH, Shirley (Dale) Smith of Des Moines, IA, Arlett (Jim) Arterberry of Maquoketa, IA, Larry (Linda) Duhme of Central City, IA, Rich (Carol) Duhme of Maquoketa, IA, and Cheryl (Brian) Nordyke of Pleasant Hill, IA; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Bartels of Maquoketa, IA, and Norma Koch of Lansing, MN; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clyde on June 17, 2001, an infant sister, and two grandchildren Steven and Travis. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Phyllis E.
