leted the Elevator and Farm Supply Management program at lowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge in 1976. Mark was united in marriage to Jane Heddinger in 1986, and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Mark began working at the Dayton Coop in 1974. In 1986, he went to work for Pro Cooperative in Pocahontas. Later he was promoted to Safety Director and Credit Manager. Mark was one of the founding members of the Ag Cooperative Safety Directors of lowa, and served as an officer for many years. He was one of the first in the nation to arrange for his cooperative to donate grain bin cofferdams to local fire departments for grain bin rescues. Mark was a member of Holy Trinity Parish in Fort Dodge. Mark loved nothing better than to go camping with his family. He especially enjoyed getting up early and sitting under the awning as the sun came up and the campground started to stir. He was quick to lend a hand to anyone who needed help, and was always ready to crack a joke, even if he was the only one who thought it was funny!
