Alice Picton

Alice J. Picton, 66, of Keokuk, died at 8:35 PM Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at Montebello Health Care Center in Hamilton, Illinois following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Picton was born September 28, 1940 in Palestine Arkansas the daughter of Lowell and Estella Sisk. She married Terry D. Picton on September 16th, 1958 in Montrose, Iowa. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2005. Mrs. Picton worked at K-Mart in Keokuk, as well as being employed with Methode Electronics Inc. in Carthage, Illinois. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Hamilton, Illinois and was a avid bingo player. She is survived three sons: David L. Picton of Keokuk, Iowa; Robert A. Picton and his wife Cindy of Keokuk, Iowa; Garold R. Picton and his wife Cindy of Keokuk, Iowa One daughter: Teresa A. Sapp and her husband Todd of Moore, Oklahoma; Eight grandchildren and Four great grandchildren. 3 brothers: Charles Sisk and his wife Sandy; Gene Sisk and his wife Linda Larry Sisk and his wife Hilda; Two sisters: Alphia Lang and her husband Greg; Betty Carel and her husband Mike and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. neral services were at 10:00 AM Friday, December 22, 2006, at DeJong's Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Mann officiating. Burial will be at Keokuk National Cemetery.
