Dean C. Kolb

Dean C. Kolb, 71, of Sandwich, MA, formerly of Davenport, died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Memorial services in celebration of his life, will be held on Wednesday December 6, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2136 Brady Street, Davenport. Pastor Katy Warren will officiate. Visitation is at the church Wednesday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation. Dean was born in 1946 in Philadelphia, PA to J. Conrad and Florence Kolb, III. He married Dianne Clemson in Oreland, PA on November 25, 1967, and together raised two sons. He owned Petro Supply Company in Davenport, retiring in 2010. He loved spending time with his family and was proud of his children and grandchildren. He loved bird watching, gardening and his family pets. He was a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport. Survivors include his wife, Dianne; sons, Drew Kolb and Dean (Karla) Kolb, Jr.; grandchildren, Dean Kolb III and Drew Kolb; and brother, Craig (Ann) Kolb. He was preceded in death by his parents.
