26, 1955 at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. After he was honorably discharged he began working for NW Bell Telephone Company from July 28, 1955 to retirement on January 1, 1986. NW Bell Telephone Company is now known as Century Link.
In his free time Bob enjoyed many road trips down to Florida to visit Cyndi, Mike and their friends. He also toured several Iowa backroads on organized tractor rides with friends. Bob was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Rockwell American Legion.
Bob is survived by his sister, Marian (Lloyd) Witte of DePere, WI and niece Cyndi (Mike) Seamon of Longboat Key, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Lewine Cassidy; sister in infancy; grandparents, Danial and Rose McLaughlin and Bernard and Emma Cassidy; Godparents, Joe McLaughlin and Marcella Jackson.
Bob's family would like to thank all of the doctors and staff at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa and a special thank you to Dr. Congello for the upmost care. In addition they would like to thank Good Shepherd and Rockwell Nursing Homes and also Hospice of North Iowa.
