April Hagmeier McAdams, of Chester, Illinois, formerly of Keokuk, died Thursday afternoon, March 1, 2007 in Chester. She was born on August 24, 1952 in Keokuk, Iowa the daughter William McAdams and Beverly Howard McAdams Lowenstein. She was a Medical Office Manager for the Chester Clinic in Chester, Illinois. She was a member of Alpha Upsilon Master. She is survived by one daughter, Sara Kay Hagmeier and her fiancé, Danny Steven Litts, of McLean, Virginia; one son, Jeffery Daniel Hagmeier of Kettering, Ohio; two brothers, Robert H. "Rob" Lowenstein and his wife, Denise, of St. Charles, Missouri and Larry Lowenstein and his wife, Sandy, of Indio, California; one sister, Linda Valencia and her husband, Tony, of Highland, California; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Cole and Scarlett Olivia She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Rick Conn, and her stepfather, Hubert Lowenstein. According to her wishes, she was cremated. Memorial services were Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 6:00 P.M. at DeJong's Funeral Home Rev. Bill Mitchell officiating. [more]
