Patricia Ann Perry

Patricia Ann Perry, age 86, of Council Bluffs, passed away December 10, 2017, at Midlands Living Center. Pat was born June 4, 1931, in Council Bluffs to the late John and Hilda (Norgaard) Slightam. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1949 and married Paul B. Perry on June 18, 1949, in Atlanta, Georgia. To this union four daughters were born, Kathy, Karen, Julie and Joni. Pat was the owner/operator of the Gingham Goose from 1977-1990. She was a docent for 25 years at the Henry Doorly Zoo and was a volunteer for the zoo's Horticulture Department. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Paul B. Perry in 2012. Pat is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Wayne) Barr of Council Bluffs, Karen (Dwight) Pierson of Quincy, California, Julie (Tom) Hartlieb of Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, Joni (Mark) Anderson of Council Bluffs; grandchildren, Jason Adamson of Loveland, Colorado, Tyler (Kara) Adamson of Bellevue, Nebraska, Ashley (Jason) Amato of Westminster, Colorado, Whitney (fiance', Sammy Ramirez Yauri) Pierson of Silver Spring, Maryland, Erica (Austin) Brockmeier of Manchester, England, Meredith (AJ) Benden of Brandon, South Dakota, Meghan...[more]
