Delmor Delano Luth

Delmor Delano Luth, 84, of Davenport, passed away at his home on Friday, November 17th. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 21st at 2pm at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly Road at Jersey Ridge. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21st from1-2pm at Weerts Funeral Home. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park following the service. Memorials in Delmor's name can be made to the Grace United Methodist Church in Davenport or Genesis Hospice. Delmor was born on March 5, 1933 to Alfred and Elsie Luth in Lansing, Iowa. He served with the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Ruth Livezey on May 14, 1955 in Oelwein, Iowa. He was an active member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Davenport and was a 32 Degree member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved to spend his time out in the yard and playing cards with family and friends. Delmor is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ruth; their son Don (Becky) Luth; two granddaughters: Nicole (Brian) Schlough and Laura (Michael) Murphy; and three great-grandsons: Braden, Maximus, and Camden.
