Raymond Kloetzer, 93, of Ackley, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Grand JiVante in Ackley. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at St. John's U.C.C. with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the Sietsema Funeral Home.
Raymond A. Kloetzer was born on November 1st, 1924 in Franklin County to Kurt and Ella (Poley) Kloetzer. Raymond attended country school through 8th grade and later enlisted with the United States Army where he served in Japan. Upon returning, Raymond farmed. On February 4, 1949, Raymond was united in marriage to Vivian Roelfs. He served on the St. John's U.C.C. Church Counsel, as the church treasurer and Director of Farm Bureau for six years. Raymond enjoyed coffee with his good friend Bill, basketball games in Geneva and morning coffee at Eichmeier's.
Raymond is survived by his wife Vivian, his sister Elfrieda Miller of Iowa Falls, his brother Don Kloetzer of Iowa Falls and many nieces and nephews.
