Glenda F. Whitson, 76, passed away on Dec. 11, 2017 in Arlington.
Glenda was born Sept. 7, 1941 in Gorman, Texas to Luther Vernon and Audrey Lavern Garrett. Glenda was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a longtime member of TOPS Club and an avid reader, who loved Elvis Presley.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jimmie R. Whitson in 2009; daughters, Sandra Whitson and Tammie Vasilio; granddaughter, Amber Hagerman; and her brother, Wayne Garrett.
She is survived by her sons, David Whitson and his wife, Antonelly, Jimmy Whitson; a daughter, Donna Williams and her husband, Larry; grandchildren, Ricky Hagerman, Victor Vasilio III, Geraldiny Whitson; sisters, Kay Broyles and her husband, Jimmy, Sue Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
