Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted by Gilbertville American Legion Nugent Demuth Post 714, assisted by the Naval Honor Guard. Public visitation from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street where there will be a 4 p.m. Legion of Mary rosary and 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials: may be directed to UnityPoint Hospice or Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Dwayne loved spending time with family and friends. He was an avid hunter and fisherman enjoying 50 years on the Mississippi River in Harpers Ferry, IA.
