Barbara Curley
Lorain - Barbara L. "Barb" Curley, 73, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, OH surrounded by her family.
She was born in Lorain, OH on October 9, 1944. Barb graduated from St. Mary Academy, Class of 1962. She was a member of St. Mary Parish in Lorain and St. Peter Parish in Lorain. Barb worked at the Lorain County Sherriff's office as the administrative assistant, retiring in 2001. She was very active in the Lorain County Democratic Party. Barb was an avid reader, she enjoyed watching movies, and she had a great love for Disney.
She is survived by her sisters, Karen Curley, Mary Lou (Jim) Hodkey and Jean (Frank) Bobel; nephew, Brent Hodkey; nieces, Stacey Hodkey and Megan Bobel; a great nephew, Declan; great niece, Brianna; and Aunt Alice Long.
She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Margaret Curley.
