were the fortunate beneficiaries of her care prior to her retirement. Attending her grandchildren's sporting and other school activities brought her much happiness.
Edna was a member of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection and was active with the Comforting Hands Quilters. She had also served as a den leader for Cub Scouts and as a group leader for Blue Birds and Campfire girls for her children. Many of the children in those groups still recognize and cherish her influence in their lives.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Miller, and her children Emily, Jared, and Blake Almandinger, all of Marion. Also surviving are Ted's children, Dixie Sexton (Charlie) of Marengo, Kathryn Offerman (Larry) and Steven Miller (Jean) of Marion, and Janice Miller of Missouri, as well as their children, Brent and Brad Bowser, Brooke Bowser-Collins, Melissa Irlbeck, Billy and Tony Offerman, and Sean and Sarah Miller; a sister, Lois Livingston (Jim); a brother, Benne Rolfs; and sister-in-law, Lavonne Rolfs. Edna was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Howard Rolfs; sister and brother-in-law, Elinor and Kenneth Jensen; and niece Wendy Jensen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, Marion High School Athletic Boosters or Marion High School Music Boosters, or directed to the family in Edna's memory.
