Sandra Jones

Sandra Sue Jones, 57, of Keokuk, died at 2:15 AM Friday, August 22, 2008, at her home, Sandra was born May 21, 1951, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Henry L. and Lillian L. Skaggs Guymon. She married James I. "Ike" Jones on July 22, 1994 in Keokuk. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2000. She was a lifelong Keokuk resident and had been employed at Keokuk Area Hospital. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Sandra enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, and spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs. She is survived by a son, William Lee Turner of Keokuk; two grandsons, Jeremy and Justin Turner; her companion, Billy Kay of Keokuk; stepdaughter, Phyllis Jones Lovell and her husband, Josh, of Keokuk; a brother, James Florie and his wife, Bonnie, of Quincy, Illinois; and half sister, Mary Whitledge of Keokuk. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dolores Myers, Mary Smith, Joyce Kelley and Austine Hobbs; two half brothers, Richard Guymon and Edward Guymon; and two half sisters, Marie Jefferson and Alice Cramer.
