Jo Ann Maldonado, 75, of Lorain, passed away after a lengthy illness at University Hospital Elyria on Saturday, December 16, 2017.
Jo was born on April 16, 1942 in Elyria to Joe Erdos and Mary Stokovich. She was a hardworking women, who retired from the Ford Plant in Avon Lake. She always encouraged everyone to love each other the way she loved everyone. She was a phenomenal cook and always had to be doing something with her hands. She always knew just what to say to make someone laugh. She had a heart of gold and the hands of an angel. She touched many lives during her tenure with us all. She will truly be missed by many.
Jo is survived by her sons Jim (Susan) Maldonado, Tony Maldonado, and her daughter Julie Maldonado all of Lorain; brother Mike (Blanche) Stokovich Stokovich) of Columbus; sisters Martha Stokovich Kathy Stokovich and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, nousins and other loved ones.
Jo is preceded in death by her husband Rubin Maldonado and son Scott Maldonado.
A family celebration of Jo's life will be held on Thursday December 21, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at El Centro, 2800 Pearl Ave, Lorain. All family a...[more]
