A funeral service for Larry Franzen, 63, of Mason City, formerly of Titonka, will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Titonka with Reverend S. Kim Petersen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Larry Dean Franzen was born January 25, 1954, in Buffalo Center, son of Lewis and Dolores (Black) Franzen. He grew up on a farm northeast of Titonka graduating from Titonka High School in 1972. Larry farmed for many years until moving to Mason City.
While in Mason City he worked in the kitchen of many restaurants most recently from the Prime and Wine until his retirement. In earlier years he enjoyed raising horses. He also enjoyed fishing, listening to music, watching football especially the Minnesota Vikings. Larry was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Titonka.
Larry D. Franzen died Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at his home in Mason City. He was 63.
