e their next trip. Pauline accompanied her husband on mission trips to Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Guatemala, Trinidad, England, and Holland, as well as countless trips across the United States. She loved telling others about Jesus, whether she was standing in the checkout line in Walmart or sitting in a dirt floor hut surrounded by free roaming chickens in the mountains of Colombia. With just a hug, she would show young women the love of Christ. With a smile and a laugh, she could break through the language barriers. Wherever she went, Pauline made an impact. Not only were Pauline and Gene busy traveling the globe as evangelists, but they also spent a lot of time traveling the U.S. visiting their many children, 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
To them, family was the first mission field, and because of this belief, Pauline was never afraid to show her faith in front of her family members. Her boldness and conviction were seen by her children and grandchildren in all that she did. If any of them was sick or hurting in any way, all they had to do was call Pauline, who would, without hesitation, pray for them, give them an encouraging word or Bible verse, and not worry about it anymore because it had been placed in the hands of God. She never doubted His ability to answer when she called. If that wasn't enough, she would bake one of her amazing apple pies and let her priceless laughter fill the room until you left with a smile on your own face.
Pauline lived life unashamed of her love for Jesus and the boldness with which she shared this love. While her family is sad at losing her, they are also at peace with the knowledge that she is now in the presence of the King. "This Christmas, Pauline got the greatest gift she could have ever received- being in the arms of Jesus and reunited with her daughter Janice and son Gene."
