Andrea Nicole Roy, age 24, passed away at 7:54 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Lutheran Hospital of IN, Fort Wayne. Born on January 13, 1984 in Columbia City, IN she was the daughter of Michael J. and Deborah S. (Hilligoss) Roy.A lifetime resident of Columbia City, she graduated with the Class of 2002 from Columbia City High School. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from International Business College graduating in 2005. From 2006 to 2008, she worked for the Alumni Department of the University of St. Francis as an Administrative Assistant. Prior to 2006, she worked for Copp Farm Supply in Columbia City. She was a member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters and St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, Columbia City, where she had been active in the youth group.Survivors include her parents, Michael J. and Deborah S. Roy of Columbia City, sister, Angela Angie Roy of Fort Wayne; grandmother, Betty Hilligoss of Columbia City; boyfriend, Joe Mahan of Fort Wayne; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
