Debra K. (Nicholson) Houser, age 49, of Columbia City, was found deceased on December 15, 2009. She was born on January 15, 1960 to William C. and Margaret G. (Huffman) Nicholson in Encino, CA.She attended Woodlan High School in Woodburn, IN. A Whitley County resident for the past three years, she was raised in Harlan, IN and had previously lived in Woodburn, IN and French Lick, IN. She was a member of the Columbia City American Legion Post #98.She is survived by her daughter Amber (J.D. Downam) Kunkel of Fort Wayne, IN; 2 sons, Austin Kunkel of Churubusco and Garrett Houser of Fort Wayne; mother and step-father, Margaret (Ervin) Bellis; two sisters, Karen (Glen) Caprioni of Fort Wayne and Kathy Nicholson of Harlan; two brothers, Bill (Rita) Nicholson, Jr. of Fort Wayne and Bob (Jennifer) Nicholson of Fairborn, OH; granddaughters, Bryah, Morgan and Kiersten Abbott of Fort Wayne; and many nieces and nephews.
