Dora Renee Voirin, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, 22 December 2017.

Dora was born in Rafaela, Argentina on July 15, 1929. Dora means "Gift", and she was ours from God. She devoted herself to a lifetime of ministry for Jesus Christ. She attended and graduated from the International Baptist Seminary of Buenos Aires, Argentina. After her marriage to Hugo Contreras an Ordained Baptist Pastor from Rosario Argentina, their ministry included the First Baptist Church of Las Varillas, Argentina, the Second Baptist Church of Buenos Aires, before immigrating to the United States and pastoring the First Spanish Baptist Church of Mart, Texas. After further training at Southwestern Theological Seminary, Fort Worth and Bible Baptist College, in Springfield, Mo., she returned to Buenos Aires, Argentina as missionaries and established the First Baptist Church of Olivos, Argentina.

Fort Worth for over 20 years. After retirement, she continued her service to others by volunteering at Harris Methodist Downtown and Harris Methodist Southwest both in Fort Worth in the Emergency Room as a Spanish speaking translator or over 15 years. Dora Renee had a gift of giving love and comfort to patients in need and praying with them to let them know that God loved them and cared for them.

Dora Renee was an active member of Southcliff Baptist Church until her illness. She cherished her Sunday school and members and volunteered for the production of the annual Singing Christmas Tree. She enjoyed her daily bible devotionals and Women's Bible Study.

Dora Renee was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She always thought of others and their needs first over her own. Her heart for giving was contagious and she enjoyed hosting all the families' annual events. Her incredible cooking skills always made going over to her house a treat.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Petrona Martinez Voirin and Adolfo Eugenio Voirin and her sister Ruth Wills, and sister-in-law, Agustina Voirin, and brother-in-law Juan Jose Briceno.

Survivors: Brothers, Julio Voirin; Oscar Voirin and wife, Anna; sister, Helena Briceno; sister-in-law, Juanita Contreras; son, Nelson Contreras and wife, Sharon and their daughter; Candice and husband, Kevin Haake and their children, Corbin and Kailey; son Eric and wife, Jaclyn Contreras and daughter, Clara; son, Colin Contreras. Son, Eddie Contreras and Mary Ann Contreras and their daughter; Nicole and husband, Hennie Volschenk and their children, Liam, Zoe, Reece, Ryan, Caroline and Luca; son, Brett Contreras; son, Byron Contreras; and daughter, Danielle Contreras; with many numerous nieces and nephews and their families and friends.
