Spirited, intelligent, strong, ornery, fun. All are words that have been used to describe Fern over the years. She was baffled and dismayed to have out-lived every member of her immediate family and many of her friends. She loved to dance, read, play cards and listen to her beloved big bands like Guy Lombardo and Lawrence Welk. Her spirit was indomitable and she is missed by all who knew her.
Fern is loved and remembered by those she has left behind: Daughters, Janet Nevins and Kris Cordova Johnson; sons: Dan Pittman and Jeff Cordova; grandchildren: Becky Stanley, Rick Stanley, Steve Nickles, Theresa Scott, Gene Pittman, Michelle Stevens, Jennifer Keiper, Jason Cordova and David Cordova. She was preceded in death by her respective husbands: Elmer Cordova and Max Swanson and her granddaughter, Fawn Stanley.
