Emilio Alfonso Moya was born on December 13, 1937 to Frank and Mary Moya in Denver, Colorado. He was taken to be with the Lord on December 24, 2017 in his home in Brighton, Colorado with his family by his side.
Emilio married Patricia Torres on September 9, 1959. In their 59 years of marriage they had 7 children, 14 grand children and 9 great grandchildren. Over the years, he grew a great love for landscaping and working around his home. He enjoyed trips to Central City to play his favorite slot machine, listening to oldies, and watching football with his family. His sense of humor was a target to anyone that engaged with him, and he would do anything for anyone that needed him.
He is survived by his wife Patsy Moya of Brighton; daughters, Pat Moya and Cheryl (Michael) Morrison, both of Brighton, Colorado; sons, Steve (Ana) Moya of Brighton Colorado, and Mark (Debbie) Moya of Englewood, Colorado; sisters, Liz Padilla, Diana Availa, Terry (Mike) Lopez, and JoAnn Flores all of Denver, Colorado; brothers, Andy and Ron also of Denver, Colorado; fourteen Grandchildren; and 13 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 28, 2017, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, followed by the Rosary at 7:00 pm, both at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, Brighton, Colorado
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 11:00 am, at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Brighton, Colorado.
