Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday January 5th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
A service will take place at the Funeral Home on Saturday January 6th at 10:30.
Burial will follow at Wiltwyck Cemetery.
Hope G. Tubby passed away at ArchCare Ferncliff Nursing Home on December 26, 2017. Born in Kingston New York on April 26, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James and Louise (Van Norstrand) Pruden.
Hope married Harold A. Tubby on October 22, 1943 at the Trinity Methodist Church in Kingston, New York. They celebrated thirty-eight years together until his death on May 23, 1981. Hope was employed at the Garment Blouse Factory in Kingston NY for forty years. She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance in Kingston NY for many years. She was a member of the ILGWU and a member of Ladies Auxiliary Joyce Schirick Post 1386.
She is survived by her daughter Joyce F. Catellier of Staatsburg NY; one sister Greta Wolven of Hurley NY still survives at home. her grandson Joel P. Mor...[more]
of Newport Richey, FL; a granddaughter Jennifer A. Iacomini (Angelo) of Pomfret Center, CT; great grandchildren Kerry Begin (Michael), Kaitlin Iacomini, Joel Morley III and John Morley; a great great grandson Angelo Rafaniello. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Hope is predeceased by her sisters Norma and Blanche; brother James Pruden.
Hope's family would like to thank the staff at Ferncliff Nursing Home for the care that provided during her residency from December 27, 2012 until her passing.
