Carol Ann Halder, age 69, passed away suddenly in her home December 26, 2017 in Federal Way, Washington. Funeral arrangements were arranged through Cascade Memorial Funeral Home. A private memorial service was held in Federal Way to commemorate and celebrate her life in Washington. A second memorial service will be held at Shelby Manor in Shelby Township, Michigan on January 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM for family and friends.
Carol was born in Ray, Arizona to Dr. Morton James and Kathleen Barbara Kripke. She was the second eldest of four children. She graduated from Utica High School in 1966. She married in 1972. She and her husband moved to various states that included Texas, Illinois, and Louisiana prior to settling in Washington state in 1983, where they raised their two children. She was a beloved mother, daughter and sister. She was a woman of immense faith, who loved the Lord with her entire being. She had an unprecedented love and care for the people around her and was always ready to provide love, support, and faithful words of encouragement for all of those she knew. She had a huge heart and so much love to give. She had sparkling green eyes, an infectious smile, a passion to impart knowledge and enthusiasm to share her love of God with any one who would stop a moment to listen. She will be missed every moment of every day and cherished in the hearts of her daughter and family.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Isaac and Sarah Kripke; maternal grandparents, John Crawford and Jane Higgins McRoberts; her father Dr. Morton James Kripke; and her beautiful and dearly beloved nephew, Blaine Edward Kripke.
She is survived by her mother Kathleen Barbara Kripke; sister, Sharon Jane Jamali; brother, Kenneth Kripke; sister, Mary Ellen Kripke; her son Shaun Halder; daughter, Jessica Doyle and son-in-law, Bradley Doyle; and several nephews, a niece and grand nieces.
Mom, you are loved and missed beyond measure. I am so blessed to have had you in my life for 35 years and I will spend the rest of my life missing you. You are loved forever.

I cannot express how grateful I am for you; you have been such an impact on Jessica. She loves you so much, and she has become such a wonderful woman of God. She has been my rock, and she is the best thing to ever happen to me. My life has changed so much since I met her. You are the reason she is who she is, and for this I am forever grateful.
I love you, Carol Ann Halder. I did not get to know you as well as I'd hoped over the past ~7 years, but I know I love you because the way you love your daughter, my Jess.

Even though we never had the chance to meet, thank you Carol for having your beautiful daughter Jessica. You gave me such a special blessing. She married my son Bradley and became my daughter-in-law. She is an amazing woman. I thank GOD she is in our lives.
