Virginia was a member of a local coffee group after moving to Thornton and attended a bible study.
Those left to cherish her memory is her son, Dennis (Gwen) Schmitz, Mason City; her grandchildren,
Laura (Mike) Schilling, Michael Schmitz, Dale (April) Schmitz, Pat Schmitz, and Heather Schmitz; nine
great-grandchildren; one great-great- granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; her sisters-in- law,
Lois Ruchotzke and Ardith Mellott; and a very special friend, Sherry Schaefer, Thornton.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Leta (Graham) Miller, her husband, Dale
Schmitz, her son Joe (Carol) Schmitz, a brother, Virgil Miller, and one great grandson.
