Nora Glick, 92, of Story City, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Dec. 29 at Bethany Life Nursing Facility, Story City. She was born August 13, 1925 on their family farm near Witt, Ill. daughter of Charley Guy and Edna Allen Wittnam, She married Ray A. Glick May 1, 1952 in Santa Barbara, Calif. He died July 25, 2015. After graduating high school she worked for the Department of the Navy during World War II. She worked many years as an administrative assistant for the Waterloo School District before retiring in the late 80's. Survived by: her son, Allen (Sharla) Glick of Kelley, Iowa. Preceded in death by: her husband; her sister Imogene Doome and brother Charles Wittnam. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery.
