Israel M. "Polly"

M. Pauline "Polly" Israel went to be with our Lord on Saturday, December 23, 2017. Polly was a lifelong "Eastsider" and an avid Cubs fan. She is survived by her sons, Jim (Tracy) and Tim (Terri), daughter, Lynn (Tom) Murrane, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Blackford, daughter, Kim, sister, Jean, and 3 brothers. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Private family burial will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
