ns and other boy scouts camping and on jamborees. Fred's greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren guiding them in life, playing with and watching his great grandchildren. In retirement, Fred loved to travel with his wife Regina and friends seeing the many wonderful sights each state has to offer.
Frederick is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Mary "Regina" (nee Van Niel), son, James (Susan), of Naples, FL, daughters; Linda (Mike) Sexton, of Amherst, and Susan (Robert) Trimble, of Lorain, his 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, brothers; Ronald (Sandy), of Amherst, Jack (Sandy), of Amherst, and sisters; Marilyn Gotfried, of Bucyrus, Lois Cuenin, of Wellington, and Cheryl (Joe) Cherney, of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by a son, David, a grandson, Robert Paul Trimble, parents; George and Evelyn (nee Baxter) Dalzell, brothers; Randy and Lowell, and a sister, Judy Wilson.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 5, from 11:00 am until the time of his funeral service at 1:00 pm, at the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Fr. Craig Hovanec, Pastor of the Church of St. Peter, Lorain, will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the Amherst Veterans Military Honor Guard.
