Roberta A. "Bobbie" (Thill) Wolbers, 50, of Eldridge, IA, and formerly of Dubuque, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rev. Dwayne Thoman will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may greet the family from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, January 5, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2215 Windsor Ave., where there will be a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home and Cremation Service is entrusted with arrangements.
Bobbie was born January 28, 1967 in Dubuque, the daughter of James and Sandra (Jones) Thill. She graduated from Wahlert High School with the class of 1984, and married Curtis Wolbers on April 26, 1985 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Bobbie went on attend Genesis School of Cosmetology in Dubuque, and graduated from NICC with a degree in Marketing. She was employed as a manager for Payless Cashways Lumberyard, and most recently as a manager at Hy-Vee, until her illness required her to retire.

ing- especially to the Caribbean. She had a passion for Shirley Temple movies, and collected Isabel Blooms. Family was the center of her life, and she loved spending time with them.
Bobbie is survived by her husband, Curt, of Eldridge; two children, Trenton Wolbers of CA and Heather Wolbers of FL; her father, Deacon Jim Thill of Dubuque; her siblings, Jim (Jennifer) Thill Jr, Kelly LeGrand, and Renee (Harold) Benedict, all of Dubuque; her mother-in-law, Phyllis Wolbers of Dubuque; two brothers-in-law, Russ (Jeni) Wolbers of Dubuque and Scott (Amy) Wolbers of FL; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandy Thill; her nephew Nicholas LeGrand; her niece, Stephani Wolbers; her father-in-law Sam Wolbers; and her grandparents.
Memorials may be made to the Roberta Wolbers Memorial Fund.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers she has had throughout her life, especially the staff at Sunnycrest Manor.
