r/>She was a traveler, who loved to visit her family in her gray suburban and she did this until her heart condition and failing health kept her off the road.
She would cook wonderful meals when she came to visit and always encouraged the very best in us.

Benita is survived by her children, Nina Strates, Naomi Kim Lasco, Ruth Garcia, Minu Rodio, David Aguilar, Elizabeth Beiseigel, Stratos Alexiou, and Heidi Sotelo; her brothers and sisters Noe Perales, Adan Perales, Alfredo Perales, and Irma Rios; and her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents Trinidad and Alfredo Perales of Weslaco, Texas ; her children Ramiro Perales, Phil Alexiou; and her brothers Faustino Perales and Roberto Perales.
Mom always had her Bible close to her and she treasured it. She found comfort in reading it.
May she finally have the peace she deserves.
Visitation Services for Benita will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home , 6705 N FM 88, Weslaco , Texas 78596. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 6:30 PM. A Cremation will be held at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park Crematory, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559.
