Steve McGill passed away Wednesday, January 3rd. He died peacefully in his sleep at his home.

He was preceded in death by his dad Cecil McGill; maternal grandparents Henry and Virgie Todd; paternal grandparents Clayton and Ethel McGill; and his aunt Mary Lou who adored him.

He is survived by his mother Betty Todd McGill; brother Clay McGill and wife Pam; niece Jessica and her children; aunts Pansy McGill McLean, Sandra McGill Penuel and Susan McGill Slade; and also numerous cousins. His aunts thought he hung the moon and loved him very much.

Steve was a devoted son to both his dad and mother. He was always there to make sure whatever needed to be done was taken care of. He loved them both very much.

Steve was a loyal friend who always had your back regardless of the circumstances. He had a dry sense of humor that would come out when you least expected it and would make you laugh out loud. Steve will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

Sunday, January 7th at Memory Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. with services at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
