Michael Lukes
Michael Lukes, 64, of Charles City, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 in Charles City.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date held by the family in Minnesota. Inurnment will be at the Bohemian Cemetery in Myrtle, Minnesota.
Michael Gene Lukes was born to Faville (Fay) and Veronica Lukes on January 14, 1953, in Austin, Minnesota. He graduated from Charles City High School, received an Associate degree from NIACC and completed his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice while living in Oregon. Michael was an Army Veteran and spent the majority of his working career in Law Enforcement. He was retired, enjoyed working on cars and trucks, attending truck pulls during the summer and watching movies. Michael had a kind heart and will be missed by those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind his sister and brother-in-law, Lourie and Daniel Thompson, and his daughter, Amy Lukes.
