Preceded in death by: his parents; two sister-in-law's Nancy and Cindy Brustkern in infancy; a great-nephew, Kaiden Staebell. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial in Sancta Maria Cemetery, both in Gilbertville. Public visitation from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street where there will be a 3 p.m. rosary and 6 p.m. vigil service. There will not be visitation at the church on Wednesday. Memorials: may be directed to the Bosco System, St. Athanasius Catholic School System or UnityPoint Hospice. Pat enjoyed spending time at their cabin at Lake Delhi, playing cards, hunting and fishing. He appreciated time spent with family, friends and children. He was "Grandpa Pat" to many little ones.
