n into their lives. Jean loved and cared for them, as well as provided for them for the length of their childhood. Her children remember her as sweet, compassionate, and kind. She encouraged them to live their lives with love, understanding and acceptance. She took care of her grandkids and watched over them when needed. She was often a shoulder to cry on and a source of unconditional love. After forty-five years of marriage to her beloved Buddy, Jean joined the Prayer Shawl Ministry at Trinity Lutheran Church. During that time, she made well over one hundred prayer shawls to donate to the church and those who truly needed them. Over the period of twenty years, Jean welcomed eight grandchildren, Mandy, Melissa, Scotty, Steven, Amber, Ashley, Zak and Sarah. Then, over the period of twenty-three years, she welcomed nine great-grandchildren, Jacob, Josh, Eli, Grace, Olivia, Chloe, Sawyer, Luke and Ruby. The funeral service is scheduled for January 11th, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church with a 12 noon viewing and a 1pm service. A "celebration of life" lunch will follow.
