He is survived by his son: Bill (& Jackie) Quick of Oskaloosa; five daughters: Vicki Cordova, Deb (& Al) Bunnell and Brenda (& Steve) Fox all of Oskaloosa, Toni Quick (& Roger Rouw) of Hedrick and Sandy (& Larry) Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada; 14 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; a sister: Veljean Hardy of Lewisville, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two great grandsons: Brandon Bunnell and Cody Deans; a brother and his wife: Bill (& Sylvia) Quick; and a brother-in-law: Clayton Hardy.
As was his wish, Charles' body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 12, 2018, at 11 A.M. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with Pastor Alvern Boetsma officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2018, in the Bates Funeral Chapel with the family present from 9 A.M. until service time at 11 A.M. to greet friends and relatives. Military rites will be given, by members of the Oskaloosa American Legion and V.F.W., at the funeral home following the service. Memorials may be made to Mahaska Hospice Home Health Care or the Alzheimer's Association.
