unting manager. They moved to Marshalltown in 1964, where he worked at Fisher Controls as a credit manager until retiring in 1989. He was in the Fisher 25 years club. Norman was a member of First Congregational Church in Marshalltown for 50 years, serving on the board of the church and as head deacon. He enjoyed history, traveling and American outdoor entertainment like circuss and carnivals. He was a member of Circus Fans of America for 53 years, serving as tri-state director of Iowa/Kansas/Missouri, and was a 50 year member of Circus Historical Society. He also was the author of published articles of both history and fiction. Norman is survived by his son: Larry (Leanne) Pike of Chicago, IL, grandchildren; Thomas Pike of Tokyo, Japan, Kaitlyn Pike of Chicago and Chris Pike of Bethlehem, PA; one great-grandchild, Leena Pike; and a sister, Katharine Hedeen of Worthington, MN. He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn.
