Patricia Neuwirth

Patricia B. Neuwirth of Elcho died Saturday June 30, 2007 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 81. Born on Oct. 25, 1925 in Antigo to Richard and Roseanna (Kramer) Hugunin and she married Robert Neuwirth on Nov. 26, 1949 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo, he survives. She attended St. John Parochial school and graduated from Antigo High School in 1944. She worked as a legal secretary in Milwaukee for several years. She returned to Antigo where she raised her family and was a member of St. John Catholic Church and sang in the church choir. From 1981 - 1987 she worked for the Antigo Housing Authority. Following retirement in 1987 she moved to Post Lake. She was active in Holy Family Catholic Church in Elcho and the Post Lake Improvement Association. Pat enjoyed painting with watercolors and acrylic, especially birds and landscapes. Survivors include her husband Robert, two daughters Dr. Christine Neuwirth of Pittsburgh, PA, Carol (John Peckham) Neuwirth of Edina, MN; three sons Dr. Kurt (Lois) of Cincinnati, OH, Eric of Queen Creek, AZ, and Major Joseph (Amy) of Ft. ry Alice Neilson of Ft. Davis, TX; one brother Gerald Hugunin of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Mark on Oct. 11, 2006. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 3, 2007 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Elcho with Rev. Roger Strebel officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church on Tuesday. A memorial is being established. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
