She was a naturally gifted cook and baker who was well known for her delicious culinary creations, which she so eagerly shared with her family and friends. Irene was also an accomplished seamstress and quilt maker who was always anxious to start her next project which would eventually be shared with those around her. In her free time, Irene always enjoyed an evening with her favorite bingo dauber in hand, or even a fun, yet competitive, game of cards which anyone willing to sit at the table. All who were fortunate enough to spend time with Irene would quickly discover her great love of country music and were frequently sure to catch a familiar tune playing in the background.
