mmerce in Omaha studying business and accounting. After graduation, she worked for New York Life Insurance Company in Sioux City. Later, she was employed part-time by the post office in Schaller. She was also a sales consultant for Avon for many years. In 1983, Betty and Armon opened Haselhoff Sales and Service, where she worked until her retirement in 2007.
Betty was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Schaller where she was an active member of the Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters, and volunteered for many church activities.
In her spare time, Betty loved embroidery, quilting, baking, camping, and trips to Branson. She enjoyed family gatherings, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones. Betty will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include; children: Charles (Connie) Haselhoff of Ames, Iowa; Dennis (Stacie) Haselhoff of Rock Rapids, Iowa; grandchildren: Cassidy (Deanna) Haselhoff; Chase (Lyndsey) Haselhoff, Marcus Haselhoff, Mitchell Haselhoff, Grant Haselhoff; and great grandchild, Robbie Haselhoff; brother: Philip (Sue) Seeley of Cherokee, Iowa; sister, Sherrie Mills of Storm Lake, Iowa; nieces; nephews; cousins; extended family and many friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Armon; parents, Ernest and Virginia Seeley; sisters, Sally (1950) and Lois Syndergaard, and brother, Jim Seeley.
