James Allen Stevens

James Allen Stevens, age 60 of Cowan, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Willows of Winchester. He was born on March 28, 1957 to the late James Harold Stevens and Verna Mae Stevens. He had served in the US Army, worked at Cowan Woodworking for 20 years and was a member of Hope Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and watching westerns and wrestling. Survivors include his sisters, Kathy Thompson of Tullahoma, Teresa (Dan) Morrison of Manchester, Joy (Leon) Taylor of Hillsboro and Tanya (Jr.) Stevens of Manchester; brothers, Ricky (Darlene) Stevens of Huntland and Phillip (Jennifer Boughton) Stevens of Ooltewah, TN; 14 nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Moore-Cortner Chapel.
