Jimmy Duane Coutta

Jimmy Duane Coutta, age 56 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro. A native of Franklin County, he was born on March 21, 1961 in Winchester. Duane was a heavy equipment operator in the family business at J.M. Coutta and Sons. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Nascar and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. Most of all, Duane enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny "Jimmy" Coutta; grandparents, Pete and Dovie Coutta, and J.B. and Ozelle Arnold; and brother, Larry Coutta. Duane is survived by his mother, Geraldine Coutta of Winchester; daughters, Jennifer (Alex) Arnold of Murfreesboro, and Jenny (Dallas) Felton of Winchester; mother of his children, Betty Gattis of Estill Springs; siblings, Johnny (Jan) Coutta of Gainesville, Georgia, Jeannie Coutta of El Paso, Texas, Timmy (Anita) Coutta of Winchester, and Becky (Chad) Stines of Winchester; grandchildren, Hunter Felton, Noah Arnold, Eli Arnold, Miles Felton, Caleb Arnold, and Parker Felton; and many nieces and nephews.
