Joyce E. Wilklow, Highland, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at home with her family. She was 83 years old. The daughter of the late Alton and DeEtta(Frost)Francisco, she was born on February 16, 1934 in Hamden, NY. Joyce was a graduate of Delhi High School. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Highland, where she had been a Deacon and Superintendent of the Sunday School.
On November 15, 1953, she was married to Albert(Bill)Wilklow, the love of her life. Joyce was dedicated to taking care of her family and working alongside "Bill" on the family farm.
Survivors include her husband at home;her children, Cheryl(Philip)Benoit of New Paltz, Fred(Sharon)Wilklow of Highland, Bonnie Williams Joyner of Bailey, NC and Frank(Angela)Wilklow of New Orleans, LA. She was "Grandma Apple" to her grandchildren: Christy(Demi)Katsaitis, Albert(Kortney)Wilklow, Jennie(James)Wilklow-Riley, Becky(Miles)Wilklow-Marnell, Joy(Russell)Ferguson, Dawn Elliott, Chester(Trine)Elliott, Holly(Dan)Fullerton, Timothy Williams, Carlos Wilklow, Atticus Wilklow, Jax Wilklow and Marigny Wilklow and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings:Hester, Wanda, Arlene, Jean, Lynwood, Vernon, Donald and Douglas and her sons-in-law, Chester Elliott and Steven Joyner.

Calling hours will take place Thursday, January 18th 4pm-8pm at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 38 Main St., Highland NY 12528. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 19th 11am at the First Presbyterian Church of Highland, 26 Church St, Highland NY 12528, followed by burial in Lloyd Cemetery.
