back yard complete with cake, ice cream and a candy filled pinata. She would also take her children and the neighborhood kids to the Forest Park swimming pool every Wednesday for a full day of fun, sun and delicious fried chicken, tuna sandwiches and watermelon.
Mary was also a fan of many things. She was a huge lover of all types of classic rock, country and mariachi music. One of her personal favorites was Johnny" Cash's "I've Been Everywhere". Mary also very much loved the Dallas Cowboys. She has always enjoyed the Cowboys games and has stuck with them to the very end.
She attended St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church for many years with her family and was a member of the Guadalupanas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melisio Espitia and San Juana Gil; two sisters, Santos Sotello and Helen Torres; and husband, Karl Norris.
Survivors: Daughters, Anna Gray and Donna Caciola (Stephen); several nieces and nephews; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
There is no doubt in anyone's mind that Mary Norris was a family member and friend to all lives she touched, and is truly one of all life's greatest gifts.
