4 years in the Navy during the Korean War, they were separated. Jacquie was active in many civic organizations such as Jaycee Wives, member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority, helped organize the Independence, MO Welcome Wagon, was active in the University Wives, was a Sunday School teacher, Acolyte Leader, Cub Scout Den Mother and Girl Scout leader, sang in various church choirs including the Community Church of the Rockies, a member of the Estes Park Chorale, was a Deacon in several Presbyterian Churches, participated in the Estes Park Rodeo Committee, Friday Nighters Dance Club and Quota Clubs in Estes Park, was a volunteer in Rocky Mountain National Park and for the Ambassadors for the City volunteering at the Visitors's Center. She enjoyed many different hobbies that included writing, gardening, hiking, crocheting, reading, but her main hobby was interacting with her family and hosting family gatherings. Survivors include her husband, Kennith Buckert, sons Kevin Buckert (Linda), Kelly Buckert (Deb), daughters Kristy Anderson (Pat), Kenna Pittman; grandchildren Quetonia Finch (Chris), Colleen Buckert, Sean Anderson (Kim), Stacy Peterson (Zac), Erica Jensen (Derek), Jaiden Buckert; and eight great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 28th at 3:00 pm at the Presbyterian Community Church of the Rockies, Estes Park. As we celebrate Jacquie's life, she was not a fan of black and would love it if you wore something red. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on behalf of Jacquie to the Quota Club for automated external defibrillators (AED) for police vehicles or the Estes Park Animal Shelter in care of Allnutt Funeral Service 1302 Graves Ave. Estes Park, CO 80517.
