ed and appliqued a flower garden quilt. She enjoyed being on the river and time spent at the cabin, fishing, trees and mushroom hunting. She loved watching birds and deer and other wildlife.
She was very generous with her time and showed unconditional love to her family. She thoroughly enjoyed time spent with her kids and grandkids. The highlight of her life were her great granddaughters and being "Grandma Doll"
Survivors include one daughter, Ann (Frank) Hills of Burlington; two grandsons, Bradley (Rose) Hills and Brian Hills; four great granddaughters, Kayla Hills of Fort Madison and Tatum Hills, McKenzie Hills and Pamela Hills all of Iowa City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Hugh and Charlie, one son Hal-Boy and three brothers and one sister.
The funeral service for Twyla will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 22nd at Lunning Chapel. The Rev. Melissa Bracht-Wagner will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
A memorial has been established for the University of Iowa Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
