On Dec. 31, 1997, Rev Simplot retired. Kyle is survived by his longtime companion, Dr. Edward Wenzel; his four children, Dennis Kyle Simplot of Oregon, Wis., Timothy William Simplot of Oregon Wis., Karen Darleen Simplot of Madison, and Pamela Kaye Simplot of Oregon, Wis; grandson, James Jonathon Huber of Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys Lucretia Tucker of Oak Park, Ill. in 1958 and Raymond William Simplot of Dubuque, Iowa in 1967; wife, Donna in 1977; and siblings, Franklin Gould in 1981, LuRay Arms in 1983, and Virginia Rist in 1994. Private services were held and Kyle was laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park, Monona, Wis.
