JAUNITA WOODMUSCATINE, Iowa - Jaunita M. Wood, 88, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018, at Pearl Valley Rehab Center.
Celebration of life will be on Friday 26, 2018 at 7 p.m. at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, at the Funeral Home. Online
Jaunita was born on March 14, 1929, in Missouri, the daughter of Oscar John and Ruby Gail Maxwell Ball. She married William Earnest Wood on February 2, 1945, in Missouri.
She worked at Louisa-Muscatine Schools and Heinz Company. Jaunita enjoyed gardening, crafting, and crocheting.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Larry Joe Wood and wife, Sharon, of Muscatine, Donald Eugene Wood and wife, Sharon, of Wapello, Sharon Dominguez, of Lone Tree, Cheryl Venzor and husband, Ernesto, of Conesville, Karen Sue Gibson and husband, Vernon, of Kentucky; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and one sister Charlotte Jenson and husband, Jim, of Muscatine.
