Brian Leigh Miga, 60, of Fort Collins passed away at his home January 18, 2018. He was born to Christian John and Suzanne Meyers (Wyckoff) Miga on December 30, 1957 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. His life took him from New Jersey to the great state of Colorado. Brian attended CU Boulder and graduated in 1980 from the College of Environmental Design. His education led him to a career as an Architectural Project Manager, a consultant and business owner. Brian gained knowledge and respect during his time spent at Sutter Architects, Mele Amantea, Neenan Company, Miga Consulting and Infusion Architects. Brian married Diana Lea Harpman August 19, 1994 in Fort Collins and the two remained there for the rest of his life. Brian was a dedicated fan of the CU Buffaloes and the Denver Broncos football teams. He enjoyed spending his time camping, watching movies and appreciated architecture and mentoring others. He especially enjoyed being 'Uncle Snowball' to family and friends. He will be lovingly missed by his family and all who knew him. A memorial celebration will be held January 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Windsong Estate, 2901 Saddler Blvd, Fort Collins. There will be a light reception following the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Brian's name to Dental Lifeline or the CU College of Environmental Design.
