ere he worked for the past ten years. Throughout his working years Jeff also worked on various construction jobs as a trim carpenter and mason. Jeff attended the New Bridge Church and he loved the outdoors, whether he was fishing, hunting or trapping. He also enjoyed playing pool and he even participated in several pool leagues. He also enjoyed playing soft ball for many years and he enjoyed watching football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs. All this said, he enjoyed spending time with his family most of all. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty Hope, two children, Justin Hope and Heather Hope all of Winterset; a sister, Teresa Silverthorn of Redfield; a granddaughter, Talia Hope-Zwiebel; several nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, James and Agnes (Reynolds) Johnston and Ralph and Gwendolyn (DeLong) Hope.
